The son was really into it, off the saddle, on a hybrid. As I passed, I gave him the thumbs up, "good job! Keep it up!" Hopefully, you encouraged the "carp" out of him. This will keep him going on future rides, and longer distances.

Taking our 6year old on her first ride off road at Hicks Lodge. It's great place to start any little ones journey, the routes are very family friendly and the cafe serves delicious ice cream.
